Calling all young scientists! Beat the summer heat and get into the lab! We offer 8 different week-long camp sessions covering a wide range of awesome science topics. Whether you’re a budding botanist, a future oceanographer, or you want to learn about the chemistry of cooking, we have something for you. One week, we’ll go for a ride on the science of rollercoasters; another week we’ll learn about the forces behind superheroes’ special powers. And for the engineers of tomorrow, we’ll dive into optics and light, and study the incredible feats of engineering right here in Brooklyn. Even if it’s steamy and hot outside, camp with Carmelo the Science Fellow is always super-cool.
We love Carmelo’s Cosmic Cove and everyone who works there! The after school classes are fun and educational and summer camp was a blast for my kids. Carmelo is great with kids and is able to connect with and direct even very young children. We miss you, Carmelo, and your staff!
My 2.5 year old loves it! A kid who would not let his nanny leave the room even for a minute in any of his other classes left her before she had her coat off in just the second class! He looks forward to it every week!
